The Sharm El Sheikh Half Marathon, held on November 23, 2024, it took place at the breathtaking Ras Mohamed National Park. The event was organized by Night Runners, a sports club focused on running and traithlon events, in partner ship with several local and international entities that included supported acommodations and travel partners. This 13th edition of the event offered three race categories: 21.1 km (Half Marathon), 10 km, and 5 km. Participants ran along scenic routes featuring the unique landscapes of the park, including sand dunes, mangroves, and the turquoise Red Sea.
The event
highlighted Sharm El Sheikh's commitment to blending fitness, tourism, and
environmental awareness, attracting both local and international participants.
The event included amenities such as an electronic timing system, finishers' medals, T-shirts, nutrition stations, and on-site medical support.
Winners received special prizes, and
rankings were divided into overall and age-specific categories. The event began
at 7:00 AM and concluded with an awards ceremony at 10:00 AM.
