Mohamed El-Sayed (born 3 March 2003) is a prominent Egyptian épée fencer and one of the most promising talents of his generation on the international stage. He began practicing fencing at a young age, demonstrating exceptional aptitude and rapid development, which enabled him to join the Egyptian national team early in his career and compete in major international tournaments.
El-Sayed represented Egypt at the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympic Games, where he gained valuable experience competing against some of the world’s elite fencers. This early exposure contributed significantly to his technical and tactical growth. His performance reached a new peak at the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics, where he secured the bronze medal in the men’s individual épée event. He further reinforced his dominance by securing another gold medal at the 2024 African Championships in Casablanca.
